Off topic, but tangentially related:
IF we are so freaked out by Russia’s interference in our elections -— why are we not incensed by Mexico’s interference with OUR entire political structure??? How many ads have Mexican nationals produced in an in-your-face effort to influence OUR elections and elected officials? How many Mexican nationals have actually been elected, i.e., infiltrated OUR government at the local level, in order to circumvent OUR laws? How many booklets have the Mexican Government produced and published helping and even encouraging Mexican nationals to invade OUR country and access OUR social systems for the benefit of Mexico? I can’t remember ever seeing hundreds of Russians take to OUR streets in protest of OUR laws and American interests. Why are we not holding Mexico and Mexicans in the same contempt as Russians for doing exactly the same thing -— except exponentially more of it? Do they get a pass just because we have a long contiguous border? Will it really matter, in the end, WHO usurps OUR government???

You make a very good point and it strips bare the hypocrisy surrounding the libs made up Russian excuse for the Wicked Witch losing the election. Brennan didn't select Mexico as the meme because Mexico aligns itself perfectly with the liberal agenda. However, Brennan, with his CIA background, knew that a number of Trump associates had Russian contacts and coupled with the historical American suspicion over Russia it was deemed to be the best fit. He also deduced that by blaming the Russians he could stick it to America by damaging U.S/Russian relations. Brennan, and his buddy Clapper, are the architects who pushed the narrative through the intelligence and LE community. A totally manufactured psychological operation played out on the American people. Unfortunately, most, if not all, government goings on follow a similar scenario. Government events are never what they appear to be on the surface. This explains the dirty little secret of the Deep State, which is that the general populace is there to be manipulated, molded and shaped. Engaged citizens have to search hard for the back story to really know what is going on. I caught a little of Rush today and he was stuttering and stammering over the “why” regarding the FBI not doing their job in the Parkland shooting. He must have gone on for fifteen minutes and never ever got it right or, perhaps, he didn't want to go there. Sort of like how he and all the other conservative talk show hosts tap danced around Obozo’s BC. There is a lot of phoniness that goes on out there, even in the minds of those in which one may place a modicum of trust. The old Reagan adage remains the benchmark - trust by verify.
