The particulars about protecting innocents from mass murder at schools, concerts, marathons etc. are not part of FBI training.
The horrific Valentine’s Day massacre that took the lives of 17 students and teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, leaving 14 more injured, proves it.
Remember every few weeks to show Obama was tough on Terror Obama’s FBI would announce a Terror Plot(framed some nutcase)

For the LAST time, school children and school have nothing to do with the FBI: it is a state and local issue, unless there is a clear federal statute in view. Even then, the quickest way to get a gun and a badge on the scene is locally.
The LSM is really pushing for student activism...
Chuck Todd this morning said that students were so mad and were more mature than in the past and were being very vocl about more gun control and laws...
He seemed to be encouraging students to take to the streets in protesting the present administration...

Well, I think they mean that one guy contacted the FBI about Cruz because Cruz left a school threat on a blog and the FBI didn’t follow up.
And if what I read is true, Broward County Schools have a policy of non-cooperation with law enforcement so that fewer students are arrested and taken out of school.
agreed—— it’s the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and should be tasked with investigating federal crimes, or crimes that cross state jurisdictions. By demanding that a behemoth like the FBI is responsible for securing every school in the country, you are asking for a complete Federal Police State. The problem in Lakeland, or Columbine, or any other school is not that the FBI wasn’t doing it’s job, the problem is that the families, local authorities, and school was not doing their job—— maybe because of too damned much federal intervention.
Finally someone saying things about what the proper the proper responsibilities & jurisdictions are of local, state & federal LEOs.

Tasking the gargantuan, politically motivated FBI with rounding up mental cases could easily morph into rounding up the politically incorrect, which would create a whole new bureaucracy - psych wards run by the totalitarian left. I suspect that’s the goal of the liberal kooks anyhow. Seems like a damned slippery slope to me.

Agreed, but they are expanding the argument. FBI failed in not contacting the sheriff, but that is not to say they should have any investigative part to school shootings, unless a federal statute is clearly in view.
