When you are old and have End-Stage Emphysema, you panic over the FLU.
IT IS THE WORSE FLU SEASON IN A VERY LONG TIME. And the paranoid believe this is a fraud? Funny.
Hundreds die of the flu every year. Look it up. But everything is worse when there is a Republican president.
In some sections of the country it is a health emergency.
Daughter-in-law is a critical care doctor in Oregon and in the last month she has seen at least one patient a day die because of this flu. And people are dying who are not in the normal categories of the vulnerable. That is what makes this a concern.
I wouldn’t be so quick to ignore this. A good friend’s brother-in-law died over the weekend from the flu. He was in his 30s, in otherwise good health, and had one child with another on the way. It’s very sad.
Right on.
The media breathlessly touts the number of 36,000 deaths a year.
Yet, in 2010, the actual number was less than 500. In 2001, it was under 300.

Americans should become aware that Colds/Flu are a weapon that kills. If as a nation we took precautions ( Masks—alcohol swabs—coughing properly) Stores talking Counter help with colds away from the public etc. Many more people would live to enjoy their retirement...
About 1200 people have died from the flu this season just in Texas. This flu season is a bad one.
I got my first flu shot ever a few days ago. Even if it’s less effective than most years, it’s better than nothing.
A few weeks ago my sister witnessed customers at a grocery store have enough of a clerk that was obviously ill and dealing with money and the public, they made it clear it was garbage.
I haven’t had the flu in 5 years and I never get the flu shot. After 5 days being down with the flu over New Years, I have to say this year seems much worse than usual. And it relapses still.

A friend who is the boss of nurses at a local hospital says they have taken in 3 times as many patients this year compared to last.
I know this thing drive me under for 3 weeks in December.
The hype: “Get Ready, Some Medical Experts Are Predicting the Worst Flu Season In History”...
That truly is representative of the hype nowadays on *everything*. “Worst Flu season in History”, relies on the ignorance of the populace about any historical event that occurred before they were born. The 1918 Flu Pandemic killed between 20 and 40 million.
Everyone in our office got flu vaccination in October.
Almost everyone in our office has missed 2-5 days for flu since mid-November.
It is very bad. These are generally healthy people.
My educated guess is that those who die from the flu do not have blood levels of vitamin D3 over 60. Sure, you can still get the flu. But to have a bad case means your vitamin D3 is deficient.
Its not a fraud. Last Sunday I had to sit in the ER in GA with my Mom for 7 hours. It was so packed they were triaging. I put on a mask before entering and never took it off. There were some incredibly sick flu cases and not all elderly. What a nightmare!
Generally I don’t get worked up about flu, get flu shots, or anything.
But I’ve seen stories about these poor children - even elder children - who have died from this recently!
It scares me mostly about my son, who is the same age. I can’t imagine all these children had “underlying problems”. Not those I’ve read about.

The flu is pre-planned through the vaccine.
Without the vaccine they couldn’t propagate the flu effectively.
Tamiflu is a bad joke, and greatly weakens your immune system. The only product offering protection from viral infection is Del-Immune, which is very effective, (Del-Immune is a derivative of the product that saved millions of lives in Russia when Chernoble went out of control)
The Flu has been weaponized for decades.

Here in Alabama my own family has now had 6 flu cases, after having nobody get the flu for as long as I remember.
The family down the street from us is mourning the death of their 8 year old daughter last week. She was in 3rd grade and never been sick a day in her life, she went from healthy to a low grade fever to dead in less than a week.
Maybe it’s about time we actually discussed how to avoid the flu.
Should we forbid people who have it the opportunity to infect others? It seems that sick people don’t quarantine themselves.
Why is it spreading so much this year?
Should we all wear gloves and face masks?
