The GOP was mean to the taco vendors by enforcing health regulations? Awww, poor babies.
I tend to favor a libertarian democracy. Let the customer vote with his feet, and with his money, which taco joint he thinks is too dirty for his business. The inspector only comes by once or twice a year, if that. The customer checks it out every week and has a better idea than the government what really happens at the taco joint.
Maybe my opinion is skewed by too many experiences in Illinois, which may not be typical of other states.
