I live in coyote country times 10 and have never heard of any attacking humans. Never. One case in Canada doesn’t add up to beans imho. That said they are a nuisance at best and should be shot on sight.

This happened in eastern Canada so it was probably a Coy-dog or Brush-wolf which is
basically a much bigger and more aggressive version of the western coyote...the young lady
in the video had nothing to fear.
