From the book:
He retreated to his own bedroom - the first time since the Kennedy White House that a presidential couple had maintained separate rooms.
You really gonna try and tell me the Clintons shared a bedroom? They don't even live in the same house.

It’s highly doubtful that Barack and the Mooch shared the same bedroom.

If you can believe the
Huffington PostAlthough it was common for American presidents to have marital sex in the White House throughout the 19th Century, the practice has become increasingly rare in modern times. The last president believed to have frequent intercourse in the White House was Calvin Coolidge whose relationship with his wife, Grace, became intensely passionate following the death of their younger son from an infected blister.
I suspect most Presidents and First Ladies have had separate rooms. There are enough bedrooms in the White House that space isn't a concern. Adjoining rooms are a possibility if intimacy is desired.

EXACTLY!! Thank you! I'd give good money to know when the Clintons even spent the night under the same roof, much less in the same room / bed.
Same with the "yoga lessons" and "planning Chelsea's wedding" emails.
