The drawback is that there is no way I could draw while belted into my car, whereas I can draw when IWB carrying at the 4 o’clock position.

The thought of re-holstering a Glock makes me pucker.

In real life, if you had to draw, then you would need to put it off to the side when the cops come to do the paperwork.

I have a IWB holster which clips to my belt. My re-holstering procedure would be to remove holster, re-insert glock while pointing away from me, then reattach holster.

Seriously, though, I would never shove a firearm down the front of my pants. I would rather use a holster.

I switched from carrying my Glock IWB at 3 o’clock, to appendix a couple years ago, mirroring what you said, there is a perfect position were it works really well (comfort) but off a half inch either way, and it can be uncomfortable. Because I now prefer to carry that way now, I have to fuss a little bit in the morning to get it just right, verses 3 o’clock.
