Depends on if they wanted him, or just all his connections: waiting until he wasn't home to grab everything lowered the risk of a firefight, eh?

Of course, doing this signals to his whole network -- IF they know who he is in real life -- that they're blown. But if they don't know who he is IRL, then there may be any number of groups spooked into chatter or moving, just in case.
