Even those who will pay more in tax (and precious few will - 80% will pay less, and many of the remaining 20% will pay very close to what they paid before) will not necessarily lose. Why? Because the economy is going to get a tremendous boost. Pay will go up. Profits will go up at big companies, leading to higher stock prices. More money around (due to pay increases and higher stock prices) will lead to increases in real estate prices. Thus, most of those losing on their form 1040 will actually GAIN - but you have to look at the forest and not just the trees.
