The incumbents who opposed this tax cut – and especially the ones who’ve continued to champion high taxes and the whole “anti-capitalist” line – will be easier to defeat at the polls in November.

Rush was making this very point today. With all the corporate announcements today (and the FedEx earnings call), it is obvious that a huge rush of capital investment and hiring is going to happen real quickly. Not a single Dem signed onto the bill. With the economy absolutely roaring by mid-year, every Dem, whether incumbent or challenger, is going to have a heck of a hard time defending why they didn't support economic growth and prosperity.
