He is a living joke. I wouldn’t be surprised if he “reverses” his “resignation.” (In other words, never resign at all.)
But if he does not resign he will be denying the job to a woman!
The replacement for Al Gropen, er, Franken has already been named, and is even now preparing for move the Washington.
Minnesota Lt. Gov. Tina Smith has been appointed to fill the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by Al Gropen’s, er, Franken’s upcoming resignation. As you can see, Minnesota has already moved on in regards to whom they want to represent them in the US Senate.
Somehow, this is not a surprise. But are they jumping the gun? Trump has not yet resigned nor has he been impeached and convicted.
Now that Roy Moore lost, they can’t paint the entire GOP with the Sexual Harrassment stuff.... so now they want to keep him... Transparent as the decision to toss him.
He never had any intention of resigning, else he would have made it effective immediately.
The ‘Ethics Committee’ should investigate how Franken won his seat in the first place.

Of course, their target was eliminated (Roy Moore) so now they can stop pretending to care about woman’s rights for a while. They know they will not get Trump this way so Frankenweener and Bill Clinton can stay.
I agree. It should be up to the people of Minnesota to make that decision and not a public media lynch mob as was done to Roy Moore.
Also, he will be a weak candidate in a reelection campaign.

Franken never had any intention of resigning - it was a stunt to shave a few numbers off the Alabama race...
