you could also do this with an orbiting observation plane or drone. All they are doing is using an array of sensors on the F-35 that can be put on any other much less expensive platform.
OK, they can see the missile. How are they going to shoot it down?
The F-35 continues to be a solution in search of a problem or justification for such an obscene expense and such a screwed up program.
Even simpler. Satellite observes a NORK missile being prepared on the pad, launch a vertical re-entry counter battery missile with a conventional MOAB type or FAE or even a tactical nuke and then jus don’t say a word. Nobody else will either.
Should they be reporting this kind of stuff?
