Excellent album - although they could have fit the relevant music onto two records. "Magnificent Seven" was an early drain-the-swamp sentiment.
On a side note, when Joe Strummer died, there were several interesting essays/comments on National Review On-Line (I know, I know - Never-Trumpers now) about the Clash and their music/message. I think the Sandinista thing was more of what their (paying) audience expected to see and hear. I guess that's the Free Market at work.
Saw them in Oct ‘82 at Shea Stadium.
