According to The Upshot's Lynn Vavreck, "More than three-quarters of the appeals in Mrs. Clinton's advertisements were about traits, characteristics, or dispositions" of her opponent. That's not normal.
No indeed, although 0bama rode "NotBush" to a Nobel prize as well as the White House. Clearly Hillary felt that her historical inevitability as the First Woman President would confer on her a similar bit of moral high ground. Two differences, though: 0bama wasn't running against Bush, and she was running against a guy who would fight back.
The author is correct in one thing, though: to blame sexism in the media for her loss is knee-slapping ridiculous. She had media support like no other candidate in the history of American politics and still managed to lose. The further we get from the election the worse her campaign looks, and the hollower her excuses.
Worst candidate?

She got the candidate she wanted and yet she still lost.
Hee Hee Hee.
