Buried in the piece is this interesting tidbit:

According to The Upshot's Lynn Vavreck, "More than three-quarters of the appeals in Mrs. Clinton's advertisements … were about traits, characteristics, or dispositions" of her opponent. That's not normal.

No indeed, although 0bama rode "NotBush" to a Nobel prize as well as the White House. Clearly Hillary felt that her historical inevitability as the First Woman President would confer on her a similar bit of moral high ground. Two differences, though: 0bama wasn't running against Bush, and she was running against a guy who would fight back.

The author is correct in one thing, though: to blame sexism in the media for her loss is knee-slapping ridiculous. She had media support like no other candidate in the history of American politics and still managed to lose. The further we get from the election the worse her campaign looks, and the hollower her excuses.

They dums helped to get Trump elected in the primaries. He was the candidate she KNEW she would beat.

He was twice-divorced and a so-called womanizer. What Republican in their right mind would vote for someone like that?

She got the candidate she wanted and yet she still lost.

Hee Hee Hee.
