He was still with the Smiths, right? I have an older brother who saw the Smiths, Cult and the Cure in one show in Boston 1990 or 1991, forgot which year.
I’m not sure. He may have still been with the Smiths but this show was him alone. The Cure were also incredible, that whole New Wave era was so refreshing after the rock and rollers became commercial corporate shills. I was a big fan of the whole scene, travelling from show to show. A wasted youth... ;^)
