I get the sense that we’re entering a new puritanical age, but a sicker one. I haven’t quite put my finger yet on what makes it sick, but it feels that way.
It’s sick because it’s so schizophrenic!
Sexually, just about anything goes these days; and at the same time people act like complete prudes when it benefits them.
And all those kids necking in the park and the drive-ins in the 60s...were illusions.

I don't think so. Do you seriously think all of these #MeToo women who have come out and complained about sexual, harassment, misconduct, abuse or rape are all little innocent choir girls?
All of these gals enjoy sex and attention just like the guys do. They're not all nuns in a convent making these allegations.
Biology is driving all of this. It's in our nature just like it is in any other species' nature. We don't reproduce, we will no longer exist.
