Following multiple sexual misconduct allegations made against high-profile politicians like Roy Moore and Al Franken, former top advisers to President Obama and the Clintons have voiced their support for Monica Lewinsky.
During an interview with MSNBC, Jennifer Palmieri — the communications director for Hillary Clinton who also worked for Bill Clinton‘s administration — said that she was sorry for everything Lewinsky had gone through.
“Monica Lewinsky was my intern and the relationship the president had with her was very inappropriate,” she said. “It was a consensual relationship, but he was the President of the United States and she was a 24-year-old intern — that is taking advantage of a power dynamic on a historic scale.”
She also revealed that in April she ran into Lewinsky for the first time in 20 years and “I told her that I was really sorry for everything that she had been through.”
“Her whole life was defined by this one mistake and her life was — I don’t want to say it was ruined because I hope it’s not,” she added.
Palmieri was also asked to respond to a comment that Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) made during an interview with The New York Times, in which she said she thought Bill should have stepped down from the presidency during the scandal. Gillibrand had previously endorsed Hillary during the 2016 election and entered the Senate in 2009 after she was elected into Hillary’s former seat after she became Secretary of State under Obama.....

“What are they up to? “
Obviously, they didn’t say anything when it would have mattered. The thinking goes something like this. I (person expressing support for Lewinsky) want to attack Trump and other Republicans. By saying what I should have done then, I am able to now attack Republicans as I have now claimed the moral high ground. Obviously, since we should have forced Clinton to resign then, we can use our new-found morality to force Republicans to resign now.
See how that works?
I don’t know, but they’re all reading from the same script. No one mentions Juanita Broderick, ONE of Bill’s rape victims, nor any of the other victims of his Weinstein-like abuse of women. So that they can set up a narrative, come 2020, wherein they’ll trot out some cardboard cutout (hopefully for them better vetted than McConnell’s latest acting troupe in Alabama), then draw the comparison between this horrible victimization and Lewisnski, which was “consentual”.
Whatever it is, it has nothing to do with what they’re telling us.
Purging the Clintons
This will hurt Chelsea’s run for office. She ruled out a 2020 Presidential run just 6 months ago. I think she is eyeing a Congressional seat in New York.
I remember trying to convince people of this aspect. The idiots kept saying ‘but she’s 24 and is an adult therefore Clinton did no wrong’.
So the idiots understood all along. They just stubbornly argued on behalf of their lecherous Demigod Clinton.
The thing was though, she signaled her interest by showing him her thong.
I was 24 once and have worked for some very powerful men including a former attorney general in Alabama.
At 24, you don’t go showing your thong unless you mean it.

You communists have have played this SMEAR one too many times. Your going to need to be truthful & real over several years in real time not 25 plus years when Clinton is old and not useful to your party any more!
Are we crystal clear?
Early on, there was mention of previous interns and females in the White House that Bill was diddling, including (supposedly) the late daughter of Veep Mondale. Bill’s peccadilloes did not abruptly start with Monica, I’m sure.
They’re up to no good and the angle hasn’t become clear, yet. It’s beyond the moving hill and bill off the stage, it’s not entirely about President Trump either, though that is of course part of it. Not sure yet what the end game is but I keep searching for clues.
