It's not a "risk"; it is a certainty!

And then, there are those who can't move because their family lives in one place and some need them, they have a job where they are and no, that's not easy to change especially for older people, not to mention the fact that selling a home is not all that easy and it costs money to move! Also, moving to a place where you don't know anyone have no family, and perhaps the schools aren't as good as the one where they now live, are but a few of the things that hold people back.

Glib, thoughtless, factless, uneducated posts aren't the "answer" to anything; nor do they add to any debate. And yet, that's what so much of these tax threads tend to generate.

It has been extremely well known, for decades, that many people, from high tax states, either move to states with no/low taxes and live there for 6 months and a day, so that they escape paying those taxes. And many people, here, complain about the "snowbirds" and/or those who move and there there all year.

Real "TAX CUT" legislation is a TAX CUT for ALL!

You left out a slew of other high tax states, some of which don't have as strict gun control laws as the ones you keep posting about.

this so-called TAX CUT thing that the House just passed is garbage and the one from the Senate is even worse! There has to be "reconciliation", where they meld these two propositions and that stinker WILL also be garbage!

We don't even know everything hiding in these two disasters and THAT promises to be nasty surprises which no doubt shall harm even MORE people! Yet YOU and some others are gleeful about this. All of you need to reevaluate your class warfare and regional hatreds!

It’s way past time for the government spending to be slashed, as well as the number of people working in it! And THAT would pay down the debt and also pay for a REAL tax cut for everyone.

Please tell the people in high tax states that SALT deduction isn’t money going to them - so they’ll quit complaining about losing it!
You’re just the one that can do it!
A balance sheet includes all transactions, including tax deductions.
Ignoring them does make high tax states look good, but it’s irrational.

Shall I also tell all of the older FREEPERS, who have high medical costs, which they can now deduct, that they should "just suck it up", too?

How about those who don't live in high tax states, who DO have high property taxes, which shall now be capped and they are losing out, even with the "double exemption" ?

And, the top 20% of tax payers,EVEN WITH PRESENT DAY DEDUCTIONS PAY SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 84-90% of ALL fed taxes! Why should the other 80% have little to NO "skin in the game"?

This is supposedly a CONSERVATIVE site, so just WHY are far too many posters, here, now, bloody class warfare MARXISTS, who keep posting utter BS codswallop on these tax threads?

Just remember, after the Republicans lose both houses because they turned their base against each other, the people you don’t care about won’t care when you are getting screwed.

“Don’t tax me. Don’t tax thee. Tax that man behind the tree.”
(The First Principle of tax politics...)

I assume you’re only taking a socialist view on this because you’re panicking.
I honestly hope you’re not in the small group that probably see their tax go up in the final bill.
I’ll be very surprised if the med deduction doesn’t survive.

I am NOT the one who posts SOCIALIST crap; that would be all of those who are gleeful about those whom we know are getting shafted by this tax INCREASE on many!

I'm posting facts about those who ARE going to get hurt, some much worse than others, so that HUGE corporations get the vast majority of the tax benefits.

These posters are no better than the blacks who were praising Obama for all of the "FREE STUFF" they were getting. No..I take that back...they're worse because they are brain dead class warfarers, who actually post complete LIES and stupid propaganda about things and people they don't really know anything at all about.

Unlike them ( and you ), I advocate that NOBODY should get a tax increase; NOBODY! A "tax cut" is a tax CUT for ALL; not for some here, some there, and a massive increase for those who pay almost nothing at all to nothing...re the "earned income" rebate!

Yes, that’s right. The tax plan is a conspiracy precisely aimed at the people of Georgia.

I’m up here in Wyoming rubbing my hands together with glee just thinking about how this tax plan will bring about the zombie apocalypse in Georgia.

Yup, you figured it out and I’ll just admit that you caught me, the Bilderbergs, the left, the UN, the Rothschilds, the RINOs, and the greeter at the Ketchikan, Alaska Wal-Mart conspiring to bring down the economy of Georgia.

And we’d have got away with it, too, if it weren’t for you darn kids!

Oh, yeah. Sad that some people’s patriotism doesn’t extend past their own wallet.

Yep - they claim they want "constitutional governance" except when removing the un-constitutional "bennies" might affect them - then they want to do an Obama and decide that part of the constitution doesn't matter quite so much....

Alright, now that you've completely avoided my question with your tirade (which I actually partially agree with), answer my question:

California, New York, New Jersey & Illinois - High tax, strictest gun control laws in the Nation. How did they get that way?

You KNOW how they "got away with it"; the pols do what they damned please, EVERYWHERE, and it doesn't matter on whit, whether they are Dems or GOPers.

I know that you are going to put the blame on DEMS; however, that is a trite excuse, which ignores crap laws that GOP governors and legislative bodies have made too; not to mention the fact that some high tax states have a LOT of Conservatives in them, but the large cities, in those states ( not to mention the college students from outside these states who can now [ didn't used to be the case! ] can and DO now vote there ) vote Dem.

And then there are those, who move to other states, to "escape" the "bad" states, who wind up turning the "new home state" into a replica of what they had left.

This subject is far more complex that a simple minded, puerile, knee jerk answer, which is what you demand.

I avoided delving into this reply, last night, because it IS such a stupid, silly, query! But decided to answer you ( and NOT with the "answer" you demanded to have, because perhaps it just might set you to "thinking", instead of avoiding that activity.
