I wonder what Mitch McConnell's hit job plan was had Mo Brooks won the Alabama primary

I understand your frustration. I feel the same. But a Senate minority will never confirm Trump’s judges. His judicial picks will last a generation. We really need a conservative takeover here. Obama had 8 years to make the Judicial Branch liberal. We must take it back, and we need a Republican majority to do this.

You may be right. The Republican Party can be considered dead in that the party leadership is fighting very hard to betray the vast majority of the base and the base knows it. The RINOs have lost, the head is dead. The party may live on and prosper if the current leadership is thrown out but that is not guaranteed to happen. If it does not the Republican Party will be replaced.

I think McConnell could have lived with Brooks. Moore is too much of a loose cannon and someone not at all likely to toe McConnell’s line or to try and get along with him.
