Acting US Attorney Steven Myhre was stumbling through an evidence hearing today in the Bunkerville Standoff case, continuing to deny detailed knowledge of an FBI surveillance camera or cameras at Bundy Ranch during the protests there in the spring of 2014.
He leveled the accusation that the defense was trying to delay the trial.
Myhre spoke of one camera being set up between April 5th and 6th and saying the camera had been made inoperable, suggesting that Ryan Bundy (one of the defendants) may have been responsible for that. Myhre said the camera ended up being moved to a different location.
In a video posted on the "JGrady" account on You Tube trial observer John Lamb noted that Myrhe was saying that the FBI personnel involved in the camera operation no longer work in Las Vegas using that as a rationale for not having more information about it.
But the US Attorney office revealed new information not previously disclosed to defense lawyers on Tuesday that federal officers armed with AR-15 rifles and dressed in camouflage were posted outside the Bundy Ranch......

A federal prosecutor resisting the judge's prodding to reveal complete information to the defense lawyers in the case.
This farce of a case continues when it should have been dropped, especially since Jeff Sessions took over at the Justice Department.
I think that that is a false statement. I have talked with former military guys that were there and they all say that the Feds were armed with full auto M-4’s.
As far as the camera goes. Who truly “damaged” it will most likely never be known. If it was a Bundy so what? Random piece of surveillance gear watching your home in the outback? I would damage it also. The drones operating in the area were far more intrusive.
Thanks for the update.

Feds were armed with full auto M-4s.
That is not a sniper weapon but probably a standard issue. M14 and larger are more likely the sniper weapons.
Drones in the Area???
A NOTAM was issued for the area. Drones were observed on several occasions.
I was specifically responding to the Feds at the gate were armed with AR’s statement in the OP. Government sniper were armed with long barrel bolt action weapons.
And if Any Bundy Supporters had AR-15’s those would have been Fully Automatic Weapons.
ok
But if the Fedzilla has M4 it then becomes an AR-15
Excellent point. Sad isn’t it.
Feds at the gate were armed with....
I would bet they had truck fulls of surveillance equipment and body armor and such. Drones and air cover/surveillance would not be out of consideration. I wonder what they used to shoot all the cows?
The big predators?
Or the smaller video types?/
There was some people that claimed there was a Predator on station. No images or proof. There are many that saw smaller video/recon type ones around the ranch and the protest area. The “militia” may also have been operating some smaller hobby type units. I am convinced that .gov was operating the video/recon style ones and I had hoped that the Bundy’s would of gone after the records in discovery. Nellis is only a stone’s throw away by drone.
I only heard it mentioned a few times on a very few threads.
No confirmation. Suposedly the Feds were sporting a mini-gun on a tripod in the back of one of the semi-trailers but no pics of it either. They were talking big and puffing up. Senior Special Agent in Charge DAN LOVE should be called to the stand to clear some of this up.
