Harbor Freight is good. The tools are okay, but for the average person, they are fine. My friend is a contractor and he laughs at my Harbor Freight tools. It does the job...
I don’t buy moving blankets. They move off of me when I sleep and I wake up cold with the blankets on the floor.
Sears used to have a significant Engineering Dept. that tested their offerings.
HF? Not so much.
I haven’t tried them overnight, but I think they are static moving blankets and tend to provide insulation from all other stuff.
Danaher manufactured the craftsman hand tools. You may recognize some other names they made/make, matco, Mac, and for a long time napa. They also own otc. They could have handled their own qc. A move like that coupled with a major power tool maker could have been huge.
They seem to have done well to me. I’ve not been in the auto industry for a decade and haven’t followed them since but in my time I found them to be fantastic.

The South is booming.
I use Harbor Freight a lot. I have a good set of tools for our boat but occasionally need something special.....like an extra extra long screwdriver to make changing a valve on the toilet easier. Bang! Quick, cheap trip to Harbor Freight and I have exactly what I need. Love Harbor Freight.
