Never had it, but I’ve had some amazing stuff off my Big Green Egg.
I’m glad they are pulling their advertising but... The reason we don’t buy their pizza is it just isn’t that good compared to other pizza places. There’s a local non chain joint that blows them away.
Papa Johns been advertising with the NFL for a long time. How did sales look in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016? I bet there will be a trend line going down starting 2016.
I see ... University of West Florida and MENSA. Not often do you see those two institutions together in the same bio.
The pizza virtue signalling on FR gets tiring. You are absolutely correct.
The NFL players aren’t protesting police brutality. They are just sh!tting on the flag and the graves of our veterans.
Papa John’s earnings took a dive when the NFL protests started. They are directly related.
What the liberal buttwipe author fails to note is that people eat pizza during the week too. Not just during NFL games. We don’t buy Papa John’s pizza the rest of the week because (up until yesterday) he was supporting the thugs who were sh!tting on the flag.
I quit Papa Johns over this issue. If they really dump NFL then I will probably go back.
I would not be surprised if this guy liked Papa John’s pizza before Papa John made his comments.
I agree. The author is writing at a 4th grade comprehension level. Like Dee Snider says, “If that’s your best, your best won’t do.”
‘Arent you supposed to be the party of personal responsibility? No? I guess not when you can easily blame your own failures on a group of black people.’
Of course. Needed the old trusty race card in the end. So clever.
I suspect this author is partial to Comet or Ping Pong Pizza.
Face it people, pizza is pizza. Unless you're getting pizza from some small family owned business, they're all the same. I'd even throw Di Giorno frozen pizza into the mix.
I hear such BS bloviation all the time, as if anyone's food preference is superior to anyone else's. People like what they like and make their own free market choices - despite what any self-appointed Food Soviet thinks is "best" for everyone.
Clearly Im not a Food Soviet, as Im not trying to force you to only buy one of those, and only one. THAT would be Soviet!
An accurate statement, that!
By the way, you have quite a collection of timeless quotes on your page, among which is one of my favorites by C.S. Lewis: Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."
However, Lewis goes on to complete his thought: "...They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be 'cured' against one's will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.
And with Hayek and Solzhenitsyn, all you're missing is a little G.K. Chesterton. Hear! Hear!
The Hayek quote in particular has new relevance as we view the AntiFa totalitarians prancing around violently.
Ill look into Chesterton for quotes.
While it does not measure up to a private family owned home made, it’s better than Domino’s, Little Caesar’s, Pizza Hut’s or even Digornao’s frozen.
The most famous place for Ribs in Memphis because Elvis liked them The Rendezvous serves the WORST ribs in town. Dry, tough, very little meat, served on foam plates with plastic utensils. Runny coleslaw, Baked beans are just Pork and Beans with BBQ sauce in them, usually served COLD. They may have been good at 1 time, but since the original owner died they stink. In fact when we took our out of town guest of 4 for a total of 6 of us, I walked out, went down the street to Huey’s and ordered a hamburger and fries, and sat on the curve eating it, while the others tried to choke a very inedible meal down. And I HATE going into MEMPHIS unarmed any place that sells booze has those NO GUN signs up.
The corndog that wrote this story better check his numbers. The drop was more than 5% between 2 weeks ago and last week. 5% would be a dream, the NFL is tanking badly.
