I am sure he can produce evidence where sales were increasing before the ‘protests’.
Socialists do not understand business.
NFL protests hurting television ratings is fact, and I am sure NFL sponsors are feeling the blowback. Bottom line though is that at least in my area, Papa Johns is simply getting beat by the competition. Price, quality, service, and taste still matter. The mom and pop restaurants are winning. That and a trend towards healthier eating habits.
Yep - don’t recall if I ever had a Papa John’s pizza but did think it would hurt his business as the NFL self destructed....
The pizza has been the same for 25+ years. Some other factor other than pizza likeability cause a sudden downturn in the past 12 months. Just like the NFL ratings, the left and the media machine are just dying to find any reason other than the fact that 30-40% of their fan base is disgusted. Ratings are down, and the positive view of the league is waaayyy down. This is not difficult. They let foolish employees run the organization. Businesses that do that perform poorly. Period.
Well, if you were a highly paid far left lawyer it would behoove you to disparage the deplorable mass market pizza affordable to the lower classes.
Click on the site and read how the boob who spewed this dreck describes himself.
Food-snobs are some of the worst humans on the planet.
If people LIKE Papa-Johns as opposed to some sort of Pizza made by the worlds’ hottest “fusion” chef using only locally sourced organic ingredients than so be it.
“Foodies” all too often fall prey to the “Emperor Has No Clothes” syndrome.
Second time I’ve seen this particular meme. The left is desperate to pretend the kneelers are not hurting the league, and they’ll slime anyone who says otherwise.
A University Professor of Marketing told a story in class.
He had to make a decision on a TV ad buy, during an NASA space launch.
The TV spot was at a deep discount.
Then his mentor weighted in, what IF the launch was a dud and something terrible happened??? Your brand WILL BE LINKED to a horrible outcome!
I’ve had all 3, Domino’s was the worst, I can handle Papa John’s or Littler Ceasar’s a whole lot better. Course I add more CHEESE. They are all stingy with it.
But nothing beats high quality NY ITALIAN made pizza. Hubby has family just out side Niagara Falls, and when we go up we go to a family owned/operated place that has divine, very cheesy, lots of meat pizza with homemade sauce.
Could it be that the pizza sucks?
Don’t cover for the NFL.
Not me I always hated football.
I'm with you on that, to be honest. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, and nothing can take the place of a pizza made by a family-run, New York pizza joint (I'm drooling just thinking of a slice). The chain pizzas are poor substitutes. Once in a while, a family-run pizzaria here in Virginia (usually run by an expat New Yorker) can do a decent job.
Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Dominos? Little Caesars? Fuggedaboutit.
The vitriol in the guys argument is the tell. This is an emotional rant. It is not analysis. The ranter cares way too much.
Popa John’s is on of the better national pizza chains...
Their is no doubt their sponsorship of the NFL has hurt them this year...
Well perhaps not hurt but with 25% or so less people watching I’m sure their sales during NFL games is equally down compared to last year.
This article is nonsense. Liberal stupidity on display for all
There are plenty of people on here that are pushing back too. Interesting that their pushbacks are all found in this article.
Including the socialist wolves in conservative sheep’s clothing that infest this site. Everything in this article, except the jabs at trump, are being bleated by a select few here on FR. I find it fascinating and a bit jarring.
Papa Johns sales are hurting because it is not a good product. I go for the pizza made in the local pizza joints
I’m not even sure their “care” is authentic. They come across as phonies.
