What, you expect the mayor to cancel Halloween? No. I expect him to facilitate law enforcement, and if need be military, in cooperation with Trump himself, to hunt down and destroy anyone involved. Anyone not involved, carry on as you see fit.

By 3 PM, hundreds of thousands of costumed revellers are already gathering. Many of them are drinking. It is probably better to let them go on, rather than waste police time. It is very difficult to shut down a huge city where the streets are packed with people.

Sorry, I agree. We don’t let terrorists stop our celebrations. Of course the people affected are devastated and their lives stop today. The rear of us go on. Think of the Whos in Whoville. Christmas still came even without the toys etc. F the terrorists!

This was one of the most bizarre press conferences I can remember, it was like they were shaming people who might be just a tad uneasy.......then Cuomo announced that “New York has the greatest security in the world, go ahead with your plans”........(while bodies are still laying in the streets).
We’re all expendable and human lives slaughtered on the altar of political correctness is just the price of celebrating diversity. They’re still cleaning the blood off the streets, screw the teddy bear memorial, we have a parade scheduled. Not even time for that trite, empty honorific now.
