Yeah....big assumptions are made here. There is no guarantee we get good conservative leaning immigrants from Europe. The newer Germans I have met, who immigrated in last 20 - 30 years, are generally very socialistic. In fact I get quite sick of them, as they always drone on how great the German social state is. They come here and bitch about how much better Europe is. Although “here” for me is Canada, so maybe Americans have a different experience?
