McCain is mentally unstable. He proved this when he went wonkers during of his hearings. Brain cancer/tumors are serious business. It had affected his judgement and his security clearances should be revoked.
I totally agree.
But it will never happen, even if he shows up at the Senate waving a loaded gun in one hand and a machete in the other. He knows this.
He’s dangerous and crazy like a junkie on crack cocaine and crystal meth. Right now the police probably couldn’t tase him and take him down. Right now his hate and Trump Derangement Syndrome are stronger than just about anything.

He’s automatically “cleared” by the act of electing him to the Senate. (That’s why a candidates character matters!)
Remember even though the executive branch “manages” the “clearance process” they are a co-equal partner with the legislative branch. Any action by the executive to deny access to the legislative would violate the Constitutional concept of “co-equal but separate powers”.

Also release all of his military records sealed by him and his father.
Revoke the security clearances for any Senator or Congressman on prescription medication for Alzheimer’s.
We come into the world as children, and often leave it with the same mentality. McCain is “mad” at Trump, so he governs like a child. His creds really need to be pulled. I can’t believe I voted for this jerk.

Wait a minute. We can’t set a standard or precedent for mental incapacity. As long as there standard or precedent calls for the 25th Amendment can still be taken seriously by the MSM.

So Ron Dellums (a self acknowledged Communist) back in the Gingrich Congress was granted his clearance by this process? (He sat on the Intel Committee!) When I pointed this out to my Congressman then, the answer I gave you was the answer I got. Of course that was way back 30 years ago and it was the House not the Senate (Which this is!). Maybe things have changed. I know when I got my clearance, I was told if the background investigation turned up anything illegal it would be reported to DOJ. It’s hard to believe a politician would put himself in that potential jeopardy.
Now I do know that staff get treated like other normal guvies and contractors when clearances are submitted.
However who would initiate the pulling? McConnell (Not likely to happen!) or the executive agency?
Yeah I’m not sure either. There is a high possibility that this article is wrong as well. I give very little credence to what I read from reporters anymore.
