These GOP members who are contemplating raising taxes are playing with fire. Failure to act in a way that pleases the base will ensure they are the ones who get burned
Make no mistake about it: if Congress, particularly the United States Senate, fails to send a tax bill to the president’s desk, it will imperil the congressional majority, do lasting damage to the Republican Party, and potentially threaten the American economy. The clock is ticking.
If they can’t repeal the unAffordable Care Act, they can’t pass a tax reform bill.
The only thing they will get done is another bloated continuing resolution passed on Christmas Eve in the dead of night.
In January when they come back, the only thing they will be doing is amnesty.
The talk will be for DACA, the effect will be far larger.
Yertle and John ossoff’s body double better get their acts together...otherwise resign NOW

Those elected LEAVE govt *richer* than they went in, get GREAT pension\perks\security\etc.
What’s NOT to like getting the boot?? Taxpayers on the hook, green in the pocket and a cushy job in some lobbyist\etc. (make work) firm.
