President Trump needs the support of Republican senators to pass key legislative items in the coming months. Upcoming measures include bills to raise the debt ceiling to avert default, fund the government to avoid a shutdown, and overhaul the American tax system. However, the out and out feud he has with Mitch McConnell may prove to be the undoing of his tax reform which the American people need and want.
Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is urging conservatives to bring it on. I say: Lets have this debate. Lets tackle these baseless arguments head on, Ryan said in prepared remarks for a speech on Thursday at the Heritage Foundation, an prominent conservative think tank.
The White House and congressional GOP leaders released a tax-reform framework in late September that is designed to serve as a starting point for legislation. The plan would collapse the number of individual tax rates, slash rates for businesses and eliminate the estate tax and the alternative minimum tax.

I wish they would bring down the rate on top earners the way Reagan did. That is a huge engine that needs to be stoked.
I hate Ryan. How much could we save by cutting their salary from $170,000 to $40,000 a year? And a $20,000 a year pension after they are out
I can’t see how we can get much of anything achieved as long as McConnell Ryan McShame and his bff Lindsay and Collins and M——ski (and a couple more) are all still in office blocking everything we voted for
President Trump needs Congressional help in bringing about tax reform...
Vote in 2018 to help him get the Congress he needs...
I wouldn’t be surprised if our beloved Congress (most of whom are millionaires, strangely enough) blocks Trump’s tax plan because they don’t personally profit from it. Then Rush will continue to bad-mouth it (because he doesn’t personally profit from it). Then the media will trash it (as they trash ANYTHING Trump does). If Trump does anything by executive order, dozens of leftist groups will take him to court, and the leftist courts will declare anything he does utterly illegal. Meanwhile, they’ll look for a way to “remove” him from office because he’s made them deranged enough to hate him, so he must be unstable (or something like that).
I hate to sound so negative, but so far the only person running America who seems to give a shit about the country is Donald J. Trump - and that includes most of the swamp creatures he’s put in his own cabinet.
The GOP is the “attack/stop Trump and Conservative agenda” arm of the DNC.
The GOP establishment is flirting with political extinction if they thwart Trump on his tax plan. The GOP will be decimated in 2018, and rightfully so.
This will make the economy boom & stock market rocking insuring a 2nd term for TRUMP!

I listen to Rush pretty regularly and have not heard him attack the tax plans, except to show exasperation that Trump is backing off his original numbers (from 15% cap now to 25%).
Perhaps you van enlighten me when this occurred? Or is that what you mean?
The GOP should be eliminated for not removing
McConnell and Ryan because THEY KNEW these are
the backstabbers of America.
Trump’s going to add a little for the high rolling ‘elites’ to pay... they always brag about how they’d like to pay more... maybe we should let them.. PAY MORE that is.
Millionaires are the primary beneficiaries of the tax cuts.
We already did that. How’s it working out for us?
The irony is that with the same clowns in legislative leadership that you mentioned, we would likely have Justice Garland writing for the 5-4 majority to gut the Second Amendment, more people than ever teeming across the border, coal would be dead, CNN would be mandatory viewing in schools, 4chan and FR would be shut down, we'd be at war with NK and Russia, and the economy would be in recession and unemployment would be rising if THIS happened...
You’ve already voted in the 2018 mid-term elections????
How did you manage that?
blocking big things we voted for like tax relief, wall and repatriation of Muslim infiltrators and terrorists, and repeal of ZeroCare
for starters.
yes, DJT is doing some good stuff that he can do (mostly on his own)... Congress is highly dysfunctional and we still desperately need to retire and replace a few of its worst offenders, obstacles
Ryan is not fighting Trump on this, McConnell is.
