I am just saying, I believe Amazon is a massive import-supporting machine.

Imports.

Not made in America. Our entire infrastructure at the moment, is totally supporting foreign imports.

Including Amazon. Bigtime. Imports.

Some things just aren’t built here anymore. You couldn’t buy an American-made television if you wanted to.

...I am just saying, I believe Amazon is a massive import-supporting machine...

Way back when I was in engineering school, the rule of thumb was that the production cost of a manufactured item was about 10% of its final retail price.

Where does the other 90% of the cost go? It goes into sales costs, warehousing, distribution, marketing, advertising, etc. Those costs pay the wages and salaries of Americans right here in our country -- they can not be outsourced to China or anywhere else.

Imports are not the great evil you think.
