Calling on Corker to resign NOW. Have the Governor appoint Blackburn. What he said to the NY Times aboutTrump and WW3 suggests Corker is cowardly. He'll collect his paycheck and not take the honorable way out.

Unfortunately, even if Corker did resign there is little to no chance Haslam would appoint a conservative to replace him.
No doubt here. I’ve known it since and before Trump was elected that it may take years for Trump to get DC to heed. Some around here thought it would magically happen in weeks or so. It all hinges on several RINOs getting taken out in the primaries and getting the rest to fall in line, which Bannon is attempting to do.

Corker has been a useless POS since his first day in the US Senate, as anyone from Tennessee could tell you.
A Blackburn appointment could work for Haslam. He may want Alexande’rs seat in 2020. Doesn’t mean we have to support him. Trump the dealmaker could step up. He could support Haslem in 2020 the same way he supported Strange.
