Today's LGBT 'Hate' is Right Up There with Pre-Civil Rights Segregationists

Long ago we warned anyone who would listen what would happen if liberals were allowed to liken whatever their cause was to the Civil Rights movement. Whether we're talking gays or illegal immigrants of Muslims, there is NO comparison to their situations today with what blacks in the United States endured from slavery through the end of segregation.

But in many cases, liberals act exactly like the racist Democrat segregationists of the not-too-recent past....

I have noted that back in the day, women and minority groups demanded their civil rights. But nowadays, whether the demonstrators are marching for abortion, LGBT issues, or against Confederate monuments, they are more likely to be demanding their civil wrongs.

Ultimately, again, it’s another instance of the greatest problem known to Man: govt.

Instead of STEPS (vs. ‘civil rights’), govt goes full hog wild w/o review, understanding nor care.

Civil Rights Act, Voting Rights Act, Welfare, etc. etc. etc., many clearly violating tenants of other Rights and which are violated, expanded (by Courts and used to base other ‘law’) and woefully abused.

They aren’t demanding equal treatment but special treatment.
Not the right to assemble but the right to deny others gatherings to express other opinions, whether seeking to shut down Christian schools that teach traditional values or a violent heckler’s veto.
It is not equal rights to live, work, act but demands that no one can criticize their lifestyle, their political ideology.

And they use everything from lawsuits to hate speech rules we should never accept in any form - because liberals already define themselves as love, rational, smart, educated and conservatives as stupid, crazy, evil haters.

The article could be a little more clear.

There is a clear and significant difference between demanding equal treatment by the government and demanding special privileges enforced by the government.

Equal treatment does not take away anyone’s right.

Special treatement requires someone to give up something for you.

The crybullies of today demand that you do things for them. They are not demanding equal treatment.

If you're talking about the debacle in Seattle, it'll never happen. Seattle has turned into a sewer filled with all types of unimaginable filth, courtesy of equally filthy kalifornians who, after destroying their own state, migrated north to corrupt Oregon, then Washington, then east to Colorado.

And they're going to do/are doing the same to Texas.

Filthy humans. I swear, I prefer mooseSlimes over kalifornians. At least with the ragheads you know what they are. Kalifornians look almost normal. And then they open their mouths.

I’m in Nashville and the trash has been floating out here for over 2 decades. Politically, the city is totally out of whack with the rest of the state, forcing the state gov’t to babysit our city and save it from more moonbat inclinations.

Before the obama error it seemed like most people simply accepted Gays lived among us in society.

Then, with the help of obama admin, they became militant demanding more and more. Being accepted wasn’t enough; they wanted to be treated special.

Then every damn tv show started pushing the gay narrative down the throats of it viewers (pun intended) with the only choice of watch or don’t watch.

We went from acceptance to disgust because Gays just had to push their sexual deviance on the rest of us. Being accepted wasn’t good enough for them. They had to destroy Christianity to prove they were morally right in being the deviants they are. Sadly they even got the Pope to go along with it.

Backfire. I’ll speak for myself. I no longer accept Gays like I did before because of all this pushing and shoving and demanding special treatment. I now resent them in a way I never did before and I don’t see that changing during the rest of my life. They forced this attitude change within me by forcing their sick deviance on me and I resent it. I will not be assimilated into their sick world view. I refuse.

Yeah, Nashville is a shame. I attended Lipscomb University for my first Bachelor’s degree back in the early 70s. It distresses me to hear what the liberals have done to that place.
