Add: The conviction for ANY crime at the misdemeanor or felony level, in any court, IMMEDIATELY voids the player’s contract with the NFL and any teams in it. Additionally, conviction on any misdemeanor or felony charge is permanent non-eligibility for ANY position in the NFL. . .

One more add: On negotiation of any and all broadcast rights, the clause should be added that the inclusion of any political commentary during the game broadcast or highlights, will result in a temporary suspension of broadcast rights for the offending network.

There are a lot of really stupid laws that can result in a misdemeanor conviction. I’d say any violent misdemeanor.
