Liberals are convinced everyone agrees with them because they see it in the media and hear it from Hollywood.
Pretty sure the DOD contracts with NFL ended before the kneeling began.
Its a metaphor. The arrogant, NY/DC cocktail circuit NFL management allowed the rot and did nothing about Kaepernick and his ilk (while cracking down on the likes of Tim Tebow)
the NFL has high level Clinton cronies in their PR/media department, for Pete’s sake. You don’t get more “corrupt insider” than that.
Trump simply pulled the lid off, if you prefer.
“As CNN anchor John King reported Sunday, team owners are now in possession of data backing Trump’s claim at least to a substantial degree”
???
WTH?
“At least to a substantial degree”???
Is that some weird qualifier or what...
Kneeling against my Flag and National Anthem is just as offensive as the n-word . .
what dont they understand??
An interesting figure would be the sale of NFL-sanctioned merchandise. I’d think that would be a real good indicator of fan enthusiasm this year.
Owners don’t know their fans even a lick. This proves it.
The history behind flags and anthems is for leaders to rally a people to a banner. This has been going on since the Roman legions, and probably before that. What a stupid thing to protest- the thing that people rally around. As leader of the country, President Trump is expected to rally around the flag and anthem. I guess liberals find this offensive because they are used to a president that blames America for the world’s problems.
I stopped a couple of years ago. I’ve been a Steelers fan for years, but with the Rooneys going “full-Obama” and the NFL adopting every politically-correct cause on the planet, I just got sick of watching. Now, getting lectured about unfairness and inequality by a bunch of millionaires who know nothing and have no skills but football just pisses me off.
Liberals are convinced everyone agrees with them because they see it in the media and hear it from Hollywood.
if they ever want to recover they have to end there relationship with ESPN or demand that ESPN stays away from Talking about politics...what is happening to the fans support of the NFL was happening in slow motion the last five years all that the protest did was speed up fans willingness to walk away from the game.
.
They’re dead, Jim!
.
I hear you, my husband’s watching tapered off over time, he was getting more and more disgruntled with their shenanigans. Last year he just reached his limit and hasn’t watched a game or even checked results since the kneeling started last year.
Every couple of years, I like to read the book, “MIG PILOT - The final escape of Lt. Belenko,” about the Russian pilot who defected to the US via Japan, in their latest, most advanced MiG 25 jet. When I closed the door on the NFL last week, I pulled that book off the shelf. A great, true story.
Yep - lots of us down on the Gulf Coast in MS have also decided we can live w/o the NFL.
