You nailed it precisely. She is simply unfit to be around children; not even any she may have of her own. If she has children of her own; it’s a guarantee she will ruin them with indoctrination and brainwashing rather than let them get the facts and make up their own minds about what is right. She would never take the chance of letting them grow up mentally healthy and fit. They would be clones of her sick mind so they would need to be removed from that home and a fit home found for them. The earlier in life the better.

Many years ago, a communist named Anne Sparanese, caused a lot of trouble among libraries. She was a leader of radical librarians and fought against cooperating with law enforcement agencies looking for the records of who checked out certain books that showed how to make illegal bombs, etc.

Sparanese was a member of the Cuban-DGI/KGB and Communist Party USA created “Venceremos Brigades” and ocassionally wrote articles/reviews for the CPUSA newspaper, back then probably called the Peoples Weekly World.

The leftist infection is still there in some librarians.

Her letter was featured prominently in The Horn Book, a publication for and about libraries. Thanks for the link.

READ ACROSS AMERICA DAY, 2016
BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA A PROCLAMATION

The moment we persuade a child to pick up a book for the first time we change their lives forever for the better, and on Read Across America Day, we recommit to getting literary works into our young peoples’ hands early and often.

March 2 is also the birthday of one of America’s revered wordsmiths. Theodor Seuss Geisel — or Dr. Seuss — used his incredible talent to instill in his most impressionable readers universal values we all hold dear. Through a prolific collection of stories, he made children see that reading is fun, and in the process, he emphasized respect for all; pushed us to accept ourselves for who we are; challenged preconceived notions and encouraged trying new things; and by example, taught us that we are limited by nothing but the range of our aspirations and the vibrancy of our imaginations. And for older lovers of literature, he reminded us not to take ourselves too seriously, creating wacky and wild characters and envisioning creative and colorful places.

Today, and every day, let us celebrate the power of reading by promoting literacy and supporting new opportunities for students to plunge into the pages of a book. As Dr. Seuss noted, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” Together, we can help all children go plenty of places along their unending journey for knowledge and ensure everyone can find joy and satisfaction in the wonders of the written word.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 2, 2016, as Read Across America Day. I call upon children, families, educators, librarians, public officials, and all the people of the United States to observe this day with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities.

BARACK OBAMA

Sounding as if he was distraught by her showing her contempt at Dr. Seuss more than her dissing our First Lady.

Where do they find these ‘adults’ who will spend more time with your children than you (for the next 12 years)? Vetting and hiring must be done with as much thought as answering the question “who would I most want to raise my child should I die tomorrow.” Certainly not these individuals.

“...librarian is too stupid to remember having her picture taken celebrating Dr. Suess’ birthday...”

Which screams out the fact that returning the books had nothing to do with Dr. Seuss, and everything to do with Melania Trump. She hates Trump more than she loves her school children. How insane and/or hate filled does a person have to be to reach that point?

This woman is a grade school librarian. She recently had started a T-shirt campaign selling the Tees that said "Read - Write - RESIST" and had a picture of the "Black Lives Matter" fist raised over an open book.

She said that "100% of the proceeds from this shirt will go to 'Libraries Without Borders' to support their global programming to bring information to people world-wide."

I have a niece that works at one.

The politics is more covert there. She shelves books aimed at jr. high age kids and below that are full of stuff that would have been considered straight perverted 20 years ago, while librarians fret about classics with a couple of “problematic” words.

This is a perfect example of a Left Wing Extremest. If my child had to use that library I would have serious concerns that this woman could separate herself from her agenda and not try to influence the children with it.

How do they get away with this? It’s exactly like selling shirts with “KKK” on them.

“The piece argues that the Cat in the Hat’s bow tie is meant to be an evocation of 19th-century racist minstrel shows,” he continued.”

I remember years ago a spoof piece analyzing Winnie-the-Pooh for suspect political opinions. That was then, but this is now: this is from a reviewed article in a library science journal.
