And Roger Goodell could have stopped it on a dime back in August 2016. Instead, he let it fester and now the league could be paying the ultimate price as TV viewership drops off 30%, stadium attendance drops off 25% or more, and the league's corporate sponsors having second thoughts about paying top dollar to advertise on behalf of the league.

In recent days I would say that Trump is cutting his own throat, but when he picks the low hanging fruit like this he solidifies his base. My brother keeps reminding me that you can’t criticize Trump because whatever he does he comes out ahead.
