The Communist Party of China is the ruling party, of the single most populated country on Earth.
We run a MASSIVE trade deficit, with China. Absolutely huge. And it is growing, every single year.

When the Soviet Union fell, the West dropped thier guard. We thought the threat was over, instead the idea of socialism spawned.

What is going on now is much closer to the Red Army Faction and Khmer Rouge than anything from the old Soviet Union.
Communism, socialism, egalitarianism whatever label one wants to pin on it will most certainly never die. I’m convinced it has some genetic components. As does conservatism.
We are now seeing Khrushchev’s prediction that they “would bury us” come to fruition.
Whom did they survey, Ivy League sophomores? I really doubt the number is that high. And if it is, I totally doubt that the respondents actually understand what communism is. In the words of the immortal Ronaldus Magnus:
