“Give me your guns, so that I can take your souls.”
I find it bizarre, but some of the biggest Trump haters and Democrats I know are also gun owners - and not just a rifle or pistol either, but large collections.
I point this out them constantly: “you do realize that Democrats would love nothing more than to confiscate your guns?”
It seems to merely cause them confusion.
But I think this is why attacking the NRA simply doesn’t work.
[Let’s hope they do continue to double-down on gun control, it has always been a losing issue for them.]
RKBA is one of the few issues that can incredibly cross all ideological lines. I have been with otherwise raging liberals who are more staunch defenders of RKBA than your typical “Golfers with Guns” on the so-called right.
I’ve personally taken several girlfriends who were somewhat to the left to the shooting range where they proceeded to have a ball and asked all sorts of questions regarding gun ownership and moderated their fear and bias regarding guns.
They keep on talking about “blame”. They should be talking about who gets credit for taking down the Witch of Fix.
The NRA has been indispensable in preserving 2A. Yes,they have strayed in candidate endorsement at times but overall, they have saved our gun rights. GOA also does a great job.
Gun control groups outspend gun owner groups by 7.4 to 1.
They would just be lying. No Democrats are truly 2A advocates.
I HAPPENED!
Hilarious!
Can you say - "TONE DEAF!"
“The last 8-10 years has produced an explosion of new gun purchases and I doubt the buyers are interested in voting for anyone who wants to infringe their gun ownership.
“
indeed. the new owner’s trend definitely works against the Dems big time as long as they are stupid enough to include anti-gun planks in their platform.
