In the greater scheme of things, is it that important? My bet is on “no.” However, his English does read like the overly-elaborate English of Indians, but trying to use US idiom and slang, and failing.
No its not important at all really... just wondering how the heck you got there. Being married to an Indian and have lots of indian in laws, none of them talk like that... some have very poor english, some have better than me, but none of them are like that.
