While President Trump has spent his time comforting America during the tragedy of Hurricane Harvey and the coming of nuclear hurricane Irma, a Texas Democrat revealed in an interview with MSNBC that Congress is considering a Trump impeachment. http://www.newsweek.com/castro-trump-comey-fired-russia-impeachment-660174?utm_source=yahoo&utm_medium=yahoo_news&utm_campaign=rss-related&utm_content=/rss/yahoous/news
I am stunned. The reason is even more stunning than the impeachment talk. A NEW YORK TIMES report claimed special counsel Robert Mueller had uncovered a draft of a letter Trump and adviser Stephen Miller wrote before terminating Comey in May.
I will go to the article before I reveal the valid reason I believe could have led to the firing of Comey a much needed action.
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/01/us/politics/trump-comey-firing-letter.html QUOTE:
WASHINGTON The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, has obtained a letter drafted by President Trump and a top political aide that offered an unvarnished view of Mr. Trumps thinking in the days before the president fired the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey.
The circumstances and reasons for the firing are believed to be a significant element of Mr. Muellers investigation, which includes whether Mr. Trump obstructed justice by firing Mr. Comey.

This is complete and total nonsense. President Trump will not be impeached over “Russia”, over firing Comey when both sides through he should be fired, or over anything else currently in the hodgepodge of insanity that passes for news among liberals.
He fired Comey for incompetence.
It’s Comey who should be jailed for his many real crimes.
Do it at your own risk, Dems.
The Democrats are irrational and criminal ... but, hey, “Russia!”
Of course it makes more sense when you realize that they may fear jail time....
Trump will just win again but the silent majority will be so fed up with lack of support by his party that they will form a new party, the American Party
It was about Comey refusing to say that Trump was NOT under investigation at the time of their meetings.
Comey's reasoning was that it might change. So why didn't he put out the info that way...."At the present time, President Trump is not under investigation but that doesn't mean it couldn't change". Now wasn't that easy???
But instead, he puts out a deliberate leak which results in the appointment of a special prosecutor.
I believe Comey planned the whole damn scenario...Motive?? Simply bad faith.
It’s Comey who should be jailed for his many real crimes.
Yep, and Trump's only "mistake" here is that he should've fired Comey immediately after Trump was inaugurated.
Both sides of the political aisle would've cheered.
This will go down as Trump's biggest tactical mistake, IMO.
Time to plan a national strike? Maybe a week without deplorables? Let the left truly see our numbers and leave the media unable to hide it?
More like corruption.
That is my sincere hope. A Modern American Party.
Now is the time, while we’re ahead, not behind.
Appointing Sessions may be his biggest mistake.
Actually, I would have fired Comey over Russia for saying one thing to me in private and another thing to the public when appearing before congress.
I would know him to be lying. I would fire him.
A significant number of people will not believe or even accept they have a real crime with lots of easy to understand, solid evidence against Trump.
Amen.
Nobody is ever going to buy the idea that Comey was fired wrongly because we all saw this guy. Had no choice. He kept preempting scheduled programming to inflict his incoherence on the public.
There will be people that will be more than happy to say what a wonderful thing it is that Trump is being “brought to justice,” at least until they figure out that they will end up with Mike Pence as a best case scenario... or maybe Paul Ryan...
Let that sink in boys and girls, President Paul Ryan
:(
Oh wait... isn’t he the guy they need to bring this charge against Trump? Talk about your “conflict of interest.”
