I started the 2017 Pick’em fantasy football team, and am making a last call before the season starts.

Been going on for over a dozen years.
The Pick’em league is simple - just pick the team each week who will win, and assign a point value to the win based on your confidence level.
At the end of the year we all toast the winner, and send a donation to JimRob.

We usually have about 20 FReepers that join to trade insults and mock those that believe that Giselle's boy toy may be a better QB than Unitas, Tarkenton or even Romo (RIFP).
There is no cost and this is a low pressure league. Blow a week completely? It gets dropped.
We do ask that everyone make a donation to Free Republic during the season.
This is a fun, light hearted league, and we especially value those who can pun a quip, or quip a funny pun.

I think the NFL knew all along this would be the result. But it at least they made it look like they were trying to address the problem.
