I posted this video as a comment on another thread two days ago, but this key interview needs a thread of its own. I've listened to it two times and I'm sure I'll go back and listen to it again.
FR reference: HarleyLady27 listened and said it was "FABULOUS".
For the last several months, most of us have been wondering what exactly has been going on inside the West Wing. Well, Dr. Gorka explains that here under the masterful guidance of Alex Marlow, probably the best political editor in the media today.
Marlow (30) knows his subjects inside and out, and is a true interlocutor with Gorka. Insightful, yet also sensitive to Gorka's need to not spill the beans on individual people in the WH. Easily the best political interviews I've heard this year. Some topics discussed:
Both men together -- Dr. G. and Alex Marlow -- have made this a most intriguing interview to hear.
MAGA!
Dr. Gorka at his eloquent best — thanks to a wonderful reporting and questions by Alex Marlow, Editor in Chief at Breitbart. It had me riveted for 45 minutes...
We need to have people on the ‘outside’ that can say what they know, when your on the ‘inside’ you can't always do that...
As much as I detest Jason Chaffetz, he is doing the very same thing...so far so good...
(holding head) Now if we can just get rid of Mike Lee!!!

They all wanted their agendas implemented as they saw fit, and when their agendas inevitably came into conflict with other Trump satellites with competing agendas, they circumvented chains of command and took their cases publicly to the press in the form of leaks.
This created chaos in the White House which was destroying the Trump agenda so Trump was forced to crack down and hire Gen Kelly to restore order at any costs.
A lot of people who left took their cases to the media afterward. Perhaps this was a continuation of their habits of taking their agendas public through selective media leaks.
I think this is a very smart interpretation... thanks.
I think you have a very good read on the situation. We know that Reince Priebus would not know what to do in that kind of enviroment because his whole career has been spent promising everything to everyone.
General Kelly is just the right man at the right time. Trump is used to running what is basically a family business where top people are either long-time highly trusted employees or family members. Totally opposite from what would be normal in the WH for any President.
Excellent insights....thanks.

This excellent and thoughtful interview with Dr. Sebastian Gorka puts such hysterics in their proper perspective—to rest, specifically.
