I know people who raise goats and they say they are easier.
But I don’t recall mentioning them needing to deworm them a lot.
They are wrong. I’m a licensed DVM and have raised and treated goats and cattle for a few decades. Goats are far more labor intensive, expensive to treat, more difficult to fence, and not as hardy as cattle. Goats are also more subject to predation. Their best quality is they eat brush and serve well to keep it under control. I’ve seen parasites wipe out a third of a sizeable herd.
