There is no recall in Missouri. She could be expelled and there are enough votes to do it, but it would be pointless. Her district would reelect her easily. She won by a 5:1 margin in 2016 against a libertarian. No republican even bothered to run.

Most do, yes. But some shirkers. However, even some Dems are calling for this crazy person to resign. Will she? If not, will they vote to expel her?

I don’t think it is lack of gumption. Maybe they’ll fool me and try it. But it will be portrayed as evil, racist Republicans punishing a a black woman—just like they did in slave times. The political cartoons and protest signs will portray Mo Senate leadership in Klan attire. She wasn’t hurt politically when she was arrested drunk and carrying a firearm. Do you think wishing death on President Trump will cause her voters to desert her?

I’m old enough to remember when Adam Clayton Powell was expelled from the HofR. His district promptly returned him to office and practically dared the House to refuse to seat him.

It might be better for our side if she stays. Hang her tweets on every Democrat running in 2018 in Missouri.
