If some kind of Civil War happens, we are screwed because it would be the perfect opportunity for a foreign enemy to Nuke the U.S. and we would be weakened against retaliation to the enemy who sent the nukes.
Not going to happen and here is why.
Any enemy will treat this like going to the movies, so they will sit on the sidelines and munch on the popcorn and enjoy the USA be torn apart.

If there is any degradation of the command and control structure; if a second “government” asserts it is in power; if the CIC doesn’t have the full obedience of the military; if commanders hesitate because they don’t know which of the two “presidents” to follow, our enemies could capitalize on that in a heartbeat.
