Lets start by stipulating this: Everything President Trump said in his press conference yesterday about Saturdays events in Charlottesville was 100% true. That is why he was so viciously assailed by every fake reporter in the fake national news media following that press conference.
Wait, what? Yes, thats how it works with the fake news media these days. You have a dishonest class of people fake journalists at the nations major media outlets who are coordinating with another dishonest class of people progressive Democrats to brainwash the public into believing a false narrative that demands that every public official who comments on Charlottesville claim that all the violence that happened there was committed by the racist dimwits and thugs of the Alt-right. The racist, leftwing, violent thugs who hundreds of video streams show instigated most of the violence are to be portrayed as peaceful, well-meaning counter-protesters.
American voters do have a choice: We can have a President who is going to do his best to deal with the reality of situations such as Charlottesville, or we can, in 2020, go back to previous form and elect yet another timid politician who is happy to parrot scripts written for him by talking points monkeys that carefully conform to whatever false narrative the media/Democrat ministry of disinformation is putting out on any given day.
We have to remember that Donald Trump won the 2016 election precisely because he is NOT like our last four globalist, talking points-reading presidents in any way. The media hates it, the Democrats hate it even more, and the squish Republicans like McCain and Romney and Lindsey Graham may hate it most of all. And thats why he won: because most Americans detest all of those three segments of our nations ruling class.

The only people who don't like it are the taxpayers.
If Ronald Reagan was President now, the MSM and the left would treat him the EXACT SAME WAY. Reagan was plain spoken, not as gruff as Trump, but both were plain spoken.
That is true. They DID treat him the exact same way, and Reagan was re-elected in a historic landslide in 1984.
To say that the Confederate soldier was anything other than a good soldier, is nothing but a lie.
That this could be the least bit controversial shows how screwed up we are in the country.
I agree with you about the rank and file soldiers, and many of their leaders. On the other hand, Jefferson Davis was a tiny-minded, vicious, abusive racist scumbag of the highest order and I have no problem at all with efforts to remove monuments that honor him.
Robert E. Lee, by contrast, was a true American patriot who deserves every honor thrown his way.
I support this President 110%. He came out yesterday saying the truth. NO politically correct bullshit!
I’v always found it a bit unnerving that so many defenders of slavery have been given places of honor in the south, but I’ve heard the arguments and understand them. Nevertheless, if this is the movement, let’s take it all the way.....Is there any greater symbol of Americas racist past than the Democrat Party...the party that fought to defend the institution of slavery? I think not. If they want to get rid of confederate history...make them get rid of it all....including, and most powerfully symbolic, the Democrat Party.
No.
You can post it all right here.
But the Truth is simply unacceptable, made up of facts which are just as unacceptable.
Because the Confederate soldier was on the ‘wrong’ side, he was therefore necessarily evil, stupid, oppressive of Negroes and women. and all other bad attributes that can be ascribed to him. The Confederate soldier was truly a Morlock to the gentle leftist Eloi.
Reagan had a GOP senate to work with in 1983 and 1984. But yes, the Ds had everything gerrymandered in their favor from the 1910s through the 1980s, and had a virtual lock on the House.
The GOP finally figured out how to play the gerrymandering game during the 1990s, and things began to change. Today, they have a virtual lock on the House. Too bad Reagan didn’t have that going for him.
At least, Reagan had the Republican Party working with him.
Today’s Republican Party is the subservient wing of the DC UniParty.
Your post is the absolute best commentary I’ve seen anywhere. I’d send it to Trump.
Yes, Robert E. Lee was in charge of West Point at one time. But my comment on the quality of the Confederate soldier comes from Ulysses S. Grant and the Devil needs the statue people because the Devil needs ignorance.
The media is so unused to the truth that it’s like holy water on a vampire when they hear it.
Maybe THAT’s the answer to CNN.
Garlic also works.
