Someone on FB pointed this out:

FUN FACTS!

1. Benghazi — no grand jury impaneled.
2. Clinton Foundation — no grand jury impaneled.
3. Uranium transfer to Russia for cash — no grand jury impaneled.
4. 30,000 e-mails deleted — no grand jury impaneled.
5. Billions in cash transferred to Iran — no grand jury impaneled.
6. Fast and furious gun running scandal — no grand jury impaneled.
7. DNC insiders with a suicide epidemic along with random murders — no grand jury impaneled.
8. DNC and media collusion during the 2016 election campaign — no grand jury impaneled.
9. Abuse of spy agencies for political espionage — no grand jury impaneled.
10. Illegal unmasking of Americans — no grand jury impaneled.

After two and a half years and billions of dollars trying to get dirt, and investigate every aspect of Trump’s long life in public — still not one shred of evidence that Russia had anything to do with the results of the 2016 election — GRAND JURY IMPANELED.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said Sunday that the Justice Department does not ‘engage in fishing expeditions.’

No, maybe, but recent reports have the FBI engaging in plenty of obstruction of justice and cover up and some think murder.

The FBI was once upon a time a respected law enforcement agency but no more.

Rosenstein is a liar and fraud .

The fact this clown who was Mueller's old employee has not recused himself because he Massive Conflict of Interest says he lies
easily .

The laws regarding a Special Counsel prohibit any persons with relations like ‘ Former Boss ‘ .

This Snake was doing a PR gig and Sessions allowed him .Its time for a Snake and Sessions to be removed .

Sessions picked him with help from Reince Pruis .
Lara Ingram knew the scoop and discussed it .
Sessions said he wanted a Doj insider .
Why did Sessions really request him is my question.

more food....

” an interview Trump gave with Fox Business in April.”:

From an article I just perused in the Atlantic....(never read there)

“Was it a mistake not to ask Jim Comey to step down from the FBI at the outset of your presidency?” Maria Bartiromo asked. “Is it too late now to ask him to step down?”

“No, it’s not too late,” Trump said. Then he added, “it’s going to be interesting.”

Rosenstein has probably barely had time to put the plaques on the wall from his past office, and already he’s found himself in a position he spent decades trying to avoid. That he’d long been widely respected by both Democrats and Republicans seems unquestionable. But in this hyperpartisan atmosphere, and in an administration that relishes controversy, how long can that reputation last?”

Me:
I smell another piece of Trump strategy here....brings guy in...who backs firing homey comey...he knows both sides had to live with the recommendation of an apolitical man by reputation.....this gets rid of the big rat at the FBI in return for a much smaller rat in Rosenstein...good exchange.....my guess...”Rod Resigns”...eventually....the President does know how to manipulate people to his advantage...thankfully...he needs that skill in abundance living in the swamp he lives in.....right?

“Duh.”
So, who put Rosenstein’s name forward to Trump?

A Deep Dive Into The Department Of Justice Transition - Jan 13, 2017

I would say a combination of Chuck Cooper and Jeff Sessions. Could be others in the mix. Part of transition planning. Trump gave Sessions latitude in building out the top of DoJ.
