Heck if threat of enforcing our immigration laws have caused the border crossing rate to drop 70%, then it will be interesting to see what an actual wall will do.
I bet that you could build a 10 foot >wide< wall would knock it down another 20%. Just the fear of enforcement is enough.

Funny thing, the Democrats voted FOR building a wall, after 9-11, but then refused to put funding in to actually BUILD the wall! Now the wall is an evil thing that shouldn’t be built - political birdie?!?
You know, this reminds me of something that recently happened in the Senate..oh, what was it, oh yeah...just of like the Republicans who voted to REPEAL Obamacare, when they knew Obama would veto them - political birdie?!?
In other words, it’s all lip-service, all the time, because By God we need to win elections to make changes - that we don’t actually intend to make!!
