The US Military is Committing Suicide
US Defense Watch ^ | July 23, 2017 | Ray Starmann

Posted on 07/23/2017 4:45:17 PM PDT by pboyington

The US military is on an endless kamikaze run into oblivion, intent on destroying itself and seemingly unconcerned about putting the national security of this nation in peril.

Yes, you heard it here. The leaders of the US military are so concerned with political correctness that they don’t give a damn about the defense of this nation.

The latest bit of lunatic social engineering was reported by CNN yesterday.

A woman will train with other potential officers this summer in hopes of becoming the first female Navy SEAL.

The candidate, a midshipman, and another woman have enlisted as the first female candidates seeking to join the Navy’s special operations teams.

The latter is training for the Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman program, or SWCC.

The article continued with the usual feminist nonsense of how this is a historic moment. It’s historic all right, the way that Pearl Harbor and Hurricane Katrina were historic.

Of course the female midshipman mentioned will be going to BUD/S, the Navy’s version of a Nazi death camp with rip currents.

To get to BUD/S, take the escalator through hell to the mezzanine level, past the food court, over the River Styx and enter the US Navy’s Basic Underwater Demolition School, aka Navy SEAL training.

How the Navy is going to drop the standards to graduate a woman from BUD/S is going to be a journey into creativity and downright dishonesty. BUD/S will soon become something between a mirage, a hologram and a guided tour though Liberace’s house.

“BUD/S is a 24-week training challenge that develops the SEAL candidates’ mental and physical stamina and leadership skills. Each BUD/S phase includes timed physical condition tests, with the time requirements becoming more demanding each week. BUD/S consists of a three-week orientation followed by three phases, covering physical conditioning (seven weeks), combat diving (seven weeks), and land warfare (seven weeks) respectively. Officer and enlisted personnel go through the same training program. It is designed to develop and test their stamina, leadership, and ability to work as a team.

BUD/S INDOC is a three-week course that introduces candidates to Coronado, the Naval Special Warfare Center and the BUD/S lifestyle. During INDOC, Navy SEAL instructors introduce candidates to BUD/S physical training, the obstacle course and other unique training aspects. This part of training is designed to prepare candidates for day one of the first phase.

The first phase of BUD/S assesses SEAL candidates in physical conditioning, water competency, teamwork and mental tenacity. Physical conditioning utilizes running, swimming and calisthenics and grows harder and harder as the weeks progress. Candidates will participate in weekly four mile timed runs in boots and timed obstacle courses, swim distances up to two miles wearing fins in the ocean and learn small boat seamanship.

The first two weeks of basic conditioning prepare candidates for the third week, also known as “Hell Week.” During Hell Week, candidates participate in five and a half days of continuous training. Each candidate sleeps at most four hours during the entire week, runs more than 200 miles, and does physical training for more than 20 hours per day. The remaining four weeks involve the acquisition of various methods of conducting hydrographic surveys and creating a hydrographic chart.”

After Hell Week, there are seven weeks of combat diving training, seven weeks of land warfare training, followed by three weeks at jump school. If you’re alive after all this, you still have another 26 weeks of SEAL Qualification Training (SQT).

So, there it is. And, we’re now supposed to swallow that PC laced cyanide pill just like the Ranger School Pinocchios that were shoved down our throat.

Surely, the Navy brass are already figuring out numerous ways to dishonestly graduate the first female from BUDs, just like the Army dishonestly graduated three women, including one 37 year old mommy from Ranger School. In fact, if the Navy needs any help in the area of fudging numbers, giving women endless chances, changing NO GO to GO and concealing records from Congress, see the Ranger School cadre.

When you think of SEALs, pumped up studs like super sniper and all-American hero Chris Kyle come to mind, or commando maverick studs like Demo Dick Marcinko, Sharkman of the Delta and founder of SEAL Team 6.

When you think of the Navy SEALs, Greatest Generation heroes, like Angelo Chatas pop in your cabeza. Chatas was the first man on Utah Beach on June 6, 1944 and was subsequently wounded eight times on D-Day alone, while serving with the SEALs’ founding fathers, the Navy Frogmen. Chatas’ exploits are well known to the people of Saint Marie du Mont, the small village adjacent to Utah Beach. In fact, a street was named after him, Allee Angelo Theodore Chatas.

Chatas was the best friend of my uncle, who was also at D-Day with the Frogmen. Chatas and Marcinko and Kyle are all representative of a US military that used to focus on double taps in the dark, gutting a tango like a Coho Salmon and putting cold steel down range; instead of sensitivity training and making sure Marcia Brady is passed through BUD/S.

The days where the US military was actually a fighting force are disappearing like morning mist over Range 109 at Graf. We are witnessing the final death of the US military, a suicide by political correctness and diversity. And, the ironic thing is that the man overseeing its final doom is a person we all expected to save the ship instead of sinking it…General Sleeping Dog Mattis.

Obviously, Sleeping Dog Mattis never really had any control at the Pentagon when it comes to the social engineering. The Pentagon was hijacked years ago by the feminist mafia who is changing the SEALs’ motto from ‘Ready to Lead, Ready to Follow, Never Quit’ to ‘You Go Girl!’ The Pentagon was car-jacked years ago by the LGBT cult worshippers who are changing the Army’s motto from ‘This We’ll Defend’ to ‘Top or Bottom?’

No one had more hope in General Mattis than me. That hope is being jettisoned like an empty fuel pod over the Solomon’s. Obviously, General Mattis is just another bureaucrat bowing to Beltway PC pressure.

The warnings have been issued for nearly two decades about the disaster of women in the combat arms and special operations; by Elaine Donnelly, by the late Colonel David Hackworth, by numerous women serving honorably in the armed forces and even by Mattis himself!

We know now nothing is going to change and the lunacy will prevail until the moment the first shots are fired on a distant battlefield when the Grim Reaper comes calling for thousands of young American men and women who will be the first victims of the military’s non-stop social engineering.

As for the Navy SEALs and their predecessors, the Frogmen; a grateful nation remembers your uncommon valor for decades before your sacrifices were disrespected by the minions of diversity.

Are not the protectors of Hasan still in power?

I believe attempts to restore some military instruction concerning Islam were successfully defeated by Muslim interests groups recently. This policy was slipped in during the transition between administrations.

New Army regulations let soldiers wear hijabs, turbans and religious beards

“It’s the liberal generals and admirals who agree to destroy the military in return for extra stars on their shoulders.”

Extra stars means extra big bucks. Corruption, anyone?

It will be instructive to see if these women are hand-waved through like the “lady Rangers.” If not, the pendulum may be moving back toward merit over identity politics.

In small elite units, like the SEALs or Combat Controllers, there is not a woman in the world that can pass the course. They simply don’t have the muscle mass and strength.

Thing is, you open these units to women and THEY will pass, and I can’t recall a single MOS where the introduction of females was not accompanied by a reduction of standards.

Read Brian Michell’s “Weak Link” for countless examples of lowering standards.

If you can’t find the book, just read up on the females that “graduated” Ranger School. Lots of compromise to accommodate them (strength and sharing of hard tasks), and dd that their training records went missing when requested by Congress.

Heck, back when females were first introduced into USAF pilot training (and were restricted to flying heavies), the usual class had 3 to 5 females in a class. Usually one, MAYBE two would graduate and that was because the “strongest” females traineee would be identified and they would staple a Samsonite handle on her back and she would received extra rides and a soft look during check-rides. When I asked a check pilot how can he give her a pass when a guy would have failed in the chocks, he said he was told to ensure she passed and besides, she was going to a crew aircraft.

Training standards were compromised, and when they were introduced into fighter, recall Hultgren of the Navy, also, when I was flying in an F-15E squadron and we all collected in the base theater where we were told Jennie Flynn was to be the first female to fly fighters in the USAF and she WILL pass MR check, she WILL upgrade to two-ship and 4-ship flight lead on time, and so forth. Lowering of standards, of course because we were told to pass her regardless of her meager skills. We had all heard from the RTU instructors that said she cried during de-briefs, CRIED. Post flight debriefs would lat longer than the flight and they would rip you a new one. . .and she cried. Imagine if a guy cried during a de-brief, that guy would have been washed out immediately.

For the Army, the 12 mile ruck march at the end of Air Assault training, women only had to carry a ruck that was at least 10-lbs less than what the men carried.

So forth and so on.

“End of military?” Not really, but compromised standards, definitely.

The military is all politics....Ike hated Patton because he had money to entertain the big wigs,... Ike was a poor boy from Kansas

Pattons wife was the one with money

Ike finally had to use Patton a few before this failed

They both served a Fort Riley after West Point

“I saw a report somewhere this “woman” is actually a transgendered man. Any truth to this? If true, In many ways, its even worse.”

I read the same thing.

A normal female can’t make it.

So they get a tranny.

This is why Obamas military has been pushing tranny so much.

That’s not a “feeling” that is absolutely the objective, done with malice aforethought.

When they get in the sh-t these women will die along with any poor bastard forced to carry part of their load.

“Just to be fair we’re going to insert a few sailors who have on average 40% less upper body-strength and 33% less lower-body strength than the rest of you. Oh, and they get really bad cramps every four weeks or so. Good luck, Team!”

Back in the 1980s I was assigned as an NCOIC in charge of a night navigation course when I was a military police platoon sergeant in the Illinois National Guard. It was a relatively simple dead reckoning course consisting of following a series of azimuths for a specified distance, retrieving a specified object at each destination, and returning with them. The battalion commander had ordered every field grade officer to complete the course. One newly commissioned female second LT., was a military police platoon leader in our 19-77 TOE military police Company. Amongst this unit’s duties was the task of rear area security in the light infantry role. We were expected to tackle SPETSNATZ airborne and airmobile units attacking rear area communications and Headquarters units. She refused to take the course. When I asked her why she she did not want to take the course, she told me that she was afraid of the dark. I repeatedly asked her to complete the course and she repeatedly refused to do so. I marked her sheet as a failure to complete the course.

Later the officer in charge of the course called me aside and requested that I give the errant butter bar a passing grade. I refused to do so, citing the fact that this woman was expected to be able to lead her troops into combat, EVEN AT NIGHT. The officer blew his stack and threatened me with disciplinary action for refusing to obey his order. I told him that if he wanted to pass her, that was up to him but I would not do so. He subsequently calmed down and apologized to me explaining that he was under terrific pressure to pass all of the newly acquired women through all the training whether they qualified or not. I sympathized with him because he was actually a pretty good officer, and I was already aware of the background political machinations behind the integration of women into our outfit. I understand that the second lieutenant in question was assigned another administrative position within the battalion

Believe me I understand what you’re talking about.

MG Miller was lying through his teeth when he said there were no special favors for women at Ranger School. One, I have a file on my comp that shows how 50 women at Carson trained for Benning for 4 months before even pre Ranger school. Only one was sent 1LT Haver who failed land nav repeatedly at Carson but was passed at Benning. It was a con from the beginning. Congressman Russell has still not received the green cards from Ranger School which are a transcript of the girls performance there. The army has stalled for two years after shredding most of their records. Total set up.

I reported to Assault Craft Unit One after 19 months on an LST that spent a lot more time in Vietnam than it did in its homeport of Yokosuka. As a fleet OOD and amphib surface warfare officer, I was ready to work hard and make a difference. I ate breakfast when the officer’s mess first opened and rushed to the office before 7AM. At that time I would encounter the latest UDT trainee class double timing back to their area soaked after beginning their day with a swim in full utilities in the south bay of San Diego.
