President Trump is finally doing what he promised to do on the campaign trail. He is working with Putins Russia to solve the catastrophic Syrian civil war, striking a cease fire agreement and working together over pursuing separate goals. But there is one big story that surfaced on Wednesday that could prove monumental in the Middle East.
I have written about the CIAs role in the creation of ISIS and Americas creation of terrorist groups across the Middle East, a disgusting tactic sowing even more chaos throughout the region. In turn, Russia has armed the Taliban against American troops in Afghanistan. Such a mess, but things could finally be turning around in Syria at least.
President Trump appears to be taking more control of major foreign policy decisions as opposed to simply leaving it all to the generals perpetrating their military industrial complex through constant and neverending war.

Who is Robert Carbery and why should we care waht he thinks?
Actually US involvement goes much further back. Who would have guessed actions in the 50’s would lead to such a tangled mess today.

Third graph tells me not to bother opening the article.
President Trump is acting on his “America First!” ideology.
In the last week, somewhere in the galaxy of news and information, ‘someone’ had reported that President Trump stated that he would rather spend money on fixing roads than spending money in the Middle East.
So, “po’ ol’ Mo” won’t have any money to fight his second cousin “Abdul” in Syria.
AND, an American president actually pulled the plug on a ‘non-State Dept. approved program’!

All good things in their own time - imagine what he could do if the RINOs would get on the side of the People....
The same is true of Afghanistan. It was the US that built those canals in the Helmand province. The construction of those canals established central points of control over the water supply and led to the political disintegration of the province. Those once independent Pashtun farmers gradually became virtual debt slaves.
The CIA run by a muslim convert put there by Obama has been supporting ISIS allied terror groups while our military has been backing The Kurds who are allied with the Syrian government. We’ve been fighting ourselves.
Yes indeed I did read up on how the USA help built canals and dams during the 50s and on through the 70s just prior to the Soviet invasion Post Taliban the US and British soldiers helped restart, but intra-tribal conflicts, government corruption, water mismanagement, and a flourishing opium trade all contributed to uneven sharing or illusion of prosperity hence resentment from the Pashtun farmers.
Well the big problem with the canals is that it destroyed a system of water rights that had been developing in place for centuries and replaced them with a few centralized points of control. If ever there was a recipe for civil war that was it.
