We Must Declare Independence from Big Government Tyranny

241 years ago, Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence due to Great Britain’s tyrannical rule of the colonies. Today, Washington DC claims more of our money and has confiscated many of our liberties as King George did back during those revolutionary times.

Jefferson’s historic writing begins:

“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”

In 2017, we are under a new form of tyranny that masquerades as our federal government — keeping us “safe” while dispensing of our God-given rights. Our country is on an unsustainable path. Spending far more than we take in, the theft continues by an outdated tax system that will crush our country very possibly within our lifetimes.

The former has failed miserably and worse since the very system of voting used to achieve it has been bastardized beyond recognition. The time for the latter has come.

In CWI the opposite sides were clearly and geopgrapphically delineated. With the current situation it is difficult. We “know” who the enemy is but just can’t lay a hand on them. I suppose we could say it is “cities vs everywhere else”. It occurred to me that a $100 an axle toll on Interstate Circumferentials might be a start but even that would be self defeating. We don’t want their pollution out here. Now they are concentrated in these urban hellholes. Like I say, I am old enough now to realize I don’t seem to know any of the answers but I remember all the mistakes.
